Campsite

Set among blocks of native woodland the Camping Meadow and The Glade can be booked for group camping.

Our out of the way campsite gives you access to the many footpaths and Commons of Ilketshall St Andrew. It is popular with youth groups, walkers and anyone else who likes to be around and among nature. Open fires are allowed and our all-weather shelter with a solid wood floor is included in the price. Local towns Beccles and Bungay have a good range of shops, places to eat out, and a choice of indoor or outdoor swimming pools. Should you choose to explore slightly further by cycle or on a day out The Suffolk coast and The Broads National park are close by.

There are two permanently sited long drop compost toilets.

Fresh drinking water can be collected from the Farm.

Shelter measuring 5.4 x 3.5m.

Due to the off-grid nature of the site, we do not provide showers or mains electricity.

FAQ

Are dogs allowed?
While we welcome dogs at Berry Farm Campsite please be mindful that we keep cattle, sometimes have dog walkers using the footpath and provide a haven for wildlife. Dogs must therefore be kept under control at all times and any injuries to livestock must be paid for.

Can I book camping just for myself/a few people?
You can but the prices above still apply. We sometimes make an exception to this for last-minute bookings if we have availability.

Can I book the campsite for a party?
That very much depends on the party! We don't allow amplified music and out of respect to our neighbours ask that campers be quiet after 10 pm. We are also limited in car parking space. Please e-mail to arrange a phone chat so we can talk through whether we can make the space work for your event.

Is produce available for sale from the farm?
Veg can be bought either as a mixed 'veg box' or to order (subject to availability). Because resident market gardeners Greengrow Co-operative will only ever sell you fresh, seasonal produce grown at Berry Farm and what's in season is constantly changing the best time to order veg is a week or two before your visit when we can predict what will be available. Berry Farm reared beef burgers and steaks are also available for the first time this year and can be preordered. Email sales@greengrow.org.uk for prices and availability.
